“We are very grateful to the ARMEC Lindeberg Foundation’s. This grant means a lot to us, as it gives me and my research team the opportunity to develop new treatments for age-related macular degeneration. The project has identified long-term treatment in preclinical settings and this grant will allow us to now aim our research to more clinical translation with a clear goal to ultimately benefit patients afflicted with neovascular age-related macular degeneration," says Helder André.
