STINT (The Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education) Initiation Grants are given to build new and strategically interesting international relations that will strengthen the competitiveness of Swedish universities and colleges.
The grant of a total of SEK 500,000 will be used to cover travel and resource costs.
This grant initiate will allow for novel collaborations and knowledge transfer between the ophthalmic departments in Sweden and Australia and act as a platform for further development and collaboration to tackle eye disease worldwide, Pete Williams, Assistant Professor at St. Erik Eye Hospital and Karolinska Institutet, says.
