Liv was born visually impaired – parents start a research fundraiser

2 February 2020

Nobody knows how much six-month-old Liv can see. One only knows that her optic nerves are thin and underdeveloped or hypoplastic. But she is making little noises bursting with energy and joy. Now her parents have started collecting money for research on the diagnosis optic nerve hypoplasia.
“Research is the best chance for Liv and other visually impaired children to have a good life,” says her mother Frida.

Liv's parents had not noticed anything off with her eyes.
